Fall’s Best Bets: Chuck!Kristin dos Santos at E! has been counting down the best best for Fall, and Chuck landed at #1 on her list (along with Pushing Daisies): CHUCK Premieres: Mon., Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. on NBC Chuck Dossier: When this series from Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak launched last year, Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi), a mild-mannered nerd in the middle of an extended quarter-life crisis, accidentally absorbed the entire contents of the NSA-CIA intelligence database into his brain. That means that now when he sees certain faces or objects, the supercomputer inside his skull instantly sets off alarms in his head and sends him off to fight the bad guys of the world, with his handlers, gorgeous CIA agent Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and grumpy-cool NSA agent Casey (Adam Baldwin) in tow. More capable than he realizes as an agent, Chuck still lacks confidence in his personal life, despite the undying admiration and devotion of his best friend Morgan (Joshua Gomez) and a series of not-quite-helpful pep talks from his more-secure sister Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and her perfectly perfect surgeon/dude boyfriend Captain Awesome (Ryan McPartlin). Chuck New-Data Download: In the immortal words of Michael Corleone (and Veronica Mars): “Just when I thought that I was out, they pull me back in.” And that’s probably more or less what Chuck Bartowski is thinking by the end of the season premiere. Despite the best efforts of the NSA and the CSI, this season Chuck remains the intelligence community’s most important asset, so he must continue to engage in high-stakes espionage while repressing his feelings for Sarah (Yvonne Stra-HOT-ski, as we all like to call her), trying to change his everyday life (the computer service desk at Buy More, believe it or not, is not the happiest place on Earth), and continuing to hide his secret life from his friends and family. I’ve seen the first three episodes of season two, and Chuck has shaken off any initial, first-season jitters, turning into a confident, supercute (albeit clumsy and underprepared) superagent. Chuck is a totally fun and funny adventure comedy series that you will instantly enjoy, and this season is beefed up with better writing, more fully developed characters and several neat guest star appearances by the likes of Michael Clarke Duncan, John Larroquette, Melinda Clarke and, yes, Nicole Richie herself. This one is worth investigating…I promise. I truly, madly, deeply loved the season premiere—please check it out! Now, want to know more? Check out the scoop served up the cast and creators at a special installment of the series, an episode I like to call Chuck vs. Comic-Con. (Spoiler alert: Chuck wins!)

Chuck - Latest from Kristin Nancy in Boston: Even though Chuck Bartowski is adorable, my heart belongs to Captain Awesome! When's the wedding? At Thursday's NBC Fall Premiere Party, Ryan McPartlin (Awesome) told me that the return of Morgan Fairchild as his mother puts a damper on their wedding plans. And his best-man pick? "I think it would have to be Chuck. It can't be Morgan. I'm going to make him the ring bearer!" But what Ryan is really hoping for this season is a Captain Awesome crossover into Chuck's world of espionage. "It would be very cool if I get deep into it and he's got to get my back and save me somehow, but I take all the credit!" Source: E!Online

Riley in Dexter, Maine: Chuck comes back tonight! Tell me you have some scoop!Chuck and Sarah are in for a roller coaster this season: They get together because they think Chuck is going to be free, they flirt with third parties (her ex-BF and his ex-roomie Bryce Larkin and Melinda Clarke as foreign operative Sasha Banacheck), and then they realize that there's no getting out of it: Sarah has to be Chuck's protector and not girlfriend. Wahh! Also, Lester (Vik Sahay) operates like a crack-addled Dwight Schrute when he becomes assistant manager of Buy More, and it's pretty funny... Source: E!Online

Chuck - Episode 2.03 - Chuck Versus The Break-Up - Full Synopsis Thanks to Michelle over at the excellent www.zachary-levi.com site for the full synopsis of the Episode 2.03 - Chuck Vs. The Break Up. Only read if you want to be completely spoiled. It starts with a flashback scene of Bryce and Sarah working together back in the days when they were dating. They're making out pretending to be a married couple (The Andersons) trying to hide from a couple of bad guys in bogota, columbia (think Mr. & Mrs. Smith). Then it comes back to the scene with Chuck in the white jacket coming to Sarah where Bryce shows up at the door. Jumps to seeing Chuck back at the apartment and Ellie asks why that was such a quick date with Sarah and Chuck tells Ellie that Sarah's Ex is back in town, but that there is nothing to worry about. Chuck then sits and joins Ellie and Awesome watching a movie and he stares with his puppy dog eyes at them cuddling.
Jumps to buy more scenes. The Mighty Jocks are in the screening room making a mess and playing games. Lester makes Morgan kick them out, they bully Morgan. Unsuccessful.
Jumps to the underground Orange Orange and Casey, Sarah and Chuck are there being briefed on the new mission, some rich guy that has a chip with all the agents identity info on it that can compromise agents cover, and they need to get it back. The general says they need to go and pose as a married couple to steal the chip. Chuck gets excited and says that this is exactly the missions he needs to get, nice clothes, dancing shoes. Then the general says "no Chuck, this mission needs a real agent." Enters Bryce, and pulls out the ring and says, "Well Mrs. Anderson?" and slips the ring onto Sarah's finger and Chuck gives the usual stare.
Sarah is working at the Orange Orange and Bryce is there talking to her as Mrs. Anderson trying to flirt with her but she shoots him down saying that this time they should keep the Anderson act professional, Bryce seems confused that she doesn't seem interested and asks if everything is ok. Sarah replies stating that this time it's a really important mission and it should stay professional (meaning no flirting and shit like they used to when dating). As they're talking we see Ellie at the door of the Orange Orange and she stops to spy, she only sees the back of Bryce. Ellie then goes to the Buy More and warns Chuck that she went to ask Sarah to be her bridesmaid and she saw Sarah talking to her ex and that they were holding hands.
Back to the herders and Morgan trying to come up with a plan to kick out the Mighty Jocks, he decides to cut the power in the screening room and the Jocks gets upset and slams the door on Morgan's face and threatens to kick their asses after work.
Chuck is at Sarah's apartment to go on their mission. (chuck is playing the waiter btw). Bryce opens the door. They're standing at the mirror and Bryce is tieing his tie and Chuck glances at his clip on. He notices Bryce's stuff and asks if Bryce was staying with Sarah and Bryce says it's to protect their cover as a married couple. Sarah comes out in a hot red dress and asked them how she looks. Chuck says red isn't really his color and walks away, comes back into the scene to grab his jacket and says "or salmon or whatever color". Sarah looks confused and Bryce is looking suspicious of something.
Jumps to the party where they'll try to find the chip. Bryce and Sarah are displaying a lot of pda ( so it's believable when they decide to go get a room). Chuck is starring in envy. Bryce and Sarah start dancing and Chuck is getting more and more distracted and jealous. Casey tells Chuck to pay attention and get close to Von Hayes (the guy with the chip) and Chuck spills wine on the guy because he's busy looking at Bryce and Sarah. They start to kiss and Chuck drops the wine bottle and Von Hayes gets pissed off and fires him. Chuck sneaks his way back in and finally flashes on the key chain Von Hayes has and it has the chip. He sees the face of the Fulcrum agent also. Chuck gets caught and Von Hays runs, Bryce tells Sarah they need to chase Von Hays for the chip but Sarah wants to go save Chuck. So Sarah runs after Chuck, shoots at the Fulcrum agent, the agent gets picked up in a car, they drop a bomb and Sarah pushes Chuck out of the way getting her self caught in the explosion.
Sarah is in the hospital and Chuck visits, he brings her gardenia (sp?) and she says "my favorite, how did you know?" he says he's not a complete idiot. She says put it over there and he sees a shitload of flowers from Bryce. You see Bryce starring at Chuck and Sarah and Ellie and Awesome sees Bryce (he's in a hat and sunglasses so they don't recognize him) Ellie says she wants to go over and talk to him, Awesome says he will handle it. Awesome takes Bryce to clean up a cut and they talk. Bryce asks Awesome if Chuck and Sarah are serious, and Awesome says he specializes in the human heart so he knows it best and he says the way they look at each other, they're definitely serious.
Bryce is at the apartment, he tells Chuck that he is worried about Sarah. Worried because Sarah has feelings for Chuck and that it's dangerous because it can get her killed. Chuck says Sarah knows what she is doing and Bryce leaves.
Awesome intercepts a flower pot that he thought was sent by Sarah's ex and gives to Chuck. Chuck calls the number that was left on the card and it turns out it's Von Hays. Chuck negotiate a change of money for the money.
We jump to the train station for the exchange. Chuck and Von Hays is about to switch when a bunch of goonies are pulling out their gun. They were hired by Fulcrum. Chuck says that he'll give them the money if they leave. Von Hays gives over the chip eventually, they are about to walk out when the Fulcrum agent grabs Chuck and demands Bryce to hand over the Chip. Von Hays runs and Casey chases after him and the goonies to get back the money. So Bryce eventually puts down his gun and hands over the Chip and the Fulcrum agent wants to kill Chuck anyways, Sarah shows up hiding and she's about to take the shot at the Fulcrum agent but she hesitates and eventually can't take the shot worried of hitting Chuck. Casey shows up and saves the day with Von Hays in one hand, the bag of money they gave to the goonies in the other and says "if you want something done, do it yourself"
Back at the apartment Bryce is packed up and ready to leave. He tells Chuck that Sarah could've taken the shot but she hesitated and it could've cost all of them their lives. Bryce asks Chuck what is he going to do about this, and chuck says "I don't know, what should I do" Bryce says "You'll do the right thing, you'll always do. That's why I sent you the intersect in the first place." Bryce walks away forgetting his glasses, Chuck tells him. Bryce says "you keep it, you'll need it if you're going to be a real spy." Chuck says he doesn't want to be a real spy and hands it back to Bryce. Bryce says "from what i've seen it's a little too late for that. I'm sure you hate me right now but some day you'll realize i've only been looking out for you, i have been all along."
Underground Orange Orange, Casey is cleaning his gun and Sarah approaches him, she says "i know i hesitated but i can protect Chuck." Casey ignores what she says and ask her to hand him a napkin. Sarah walks away.
At the apartment with Chuck and Sarah. The talk. Chuck says "Look we both know how i feel about you so i'm just going to shoot straight. You're the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. You're smart, beautiful, you laugh at all my stupid jokes and have a horrible habbit of always saving my life. The truth is, you're everything thgat I thought I ever wanted and more. And the last few days all I could think about is our future together. About what it's going to be like once I get the intersect out of my head and we can be together for real, no fake relationship, no covers, no lies. But the more I think about it ,the more I realize that you and I can never have a future together. I fooled myself into thinking that we could but the truth is we can't. Because even if we had a real relationship it'd never really be real. I still won't know anything about you, your real name, your home town, your first love, anything. And I want more than that. I want to be able to call you at the end of a bad day and tell you something funny thing Morgan did but I can't cause you'll be somewhere in Paraguay qualling a revolution with a fork. I'm a normal guy who wants a normal life. And as amazing as you are Sarah Walker, we both know that you will never be normal."
Sarah, "you know, some day when the intersect is out of your head and you have the life you've always wanted, you'll forget all about me." Chuck, "I seriously doubt that." Sarah, "c'mon we better get inside, they're probably waiting for us."
And as Chuck was giving his speech, Sarah is looking super sad and all teary eyed, like she agrees that what Chuck is saying is right but it doesn't mean that she doesn't want that life also. (I was totally crying lol)
So after sarah says they better get inside, she stands up and starts walking, she's super hurt and sad looking, she stops in her tracks and closes her eyes like she is trying to get rid of her tears. Chuck stands up and walks towards the door. They're both standing infront and they look at each other one last time all sad, then they put on a fake smile and walks in.
Chuck is in his room, he notices Bryce's glasses on his desk. He tries them on and is looking at himself in the mirror. The camera pans in and you notice the chip on the side frame of the sun glasses and it activates downloading all the info into chuck's head again and when it was done it read "Intersect update complete." Chuck falls backwards again and says "I hate Bryce Larkin."
So Morgan and Lester ends up sleeping at the Buy More because they didn't want to go home and get their ass kicked by the Jocks. So the next day Anna makes fun of Morgan and tells him he needs to stand up to the Jocks. So finally Morgan gets the courage and they're in the cage ready to fight. Anna comes in and says she'll protect her man and ends up kicking the jock's ass with a camera tripod. Casey and Chuck is standing in the back watching and Casey seems impressed by Anna. Casey pulls out his phone and says "background check on an Anna Woo." and he says I have a candidate for possible field work, and chuck says no.

Chuck - Episode 2.04 - Chuck vs The Cougars - Detailed Synopsis Thanks again to Michelle from www.zachary-levi.com for the details. Young Sarah, frizzy shorter hair, braces driving in an old yellow volks wagon. She pulls up to her house and sees a bunch of cops and CIA agents arresting her father (we don't see his face). She runs into the trees and gets to a certain tree and starts to dig up a box. She opens it and it's a card from her dad that states "for emergency, love daddy." and it has a lot of cash in it. Back to current day Sarah buying an ipod headphone at the Buy More. She notices a girl starring at them creepily, she gets suspicious and pulls Chuck away and hides Chuck in the underground Orange Orange. Sarah goes back out to the register and the creepy girl walks in (Nicole Richie). She is telling Sarah she knows her but not sure from where. Sarah is about to pull out her knife when the girl says, HIGH SCHOOL. And Sarah puts away her knife and signals Casey to stand down. Chuck decides to spy and he hears the girls talking at the register and finally figures out Sarah's real name when the girl finally remembered Sarah's name........JENNY BOURTON (lol). Heather is the girl's name, her husband (Mark) comes in and they're all talking. Chuck decides it's his chance to find out more info so he comes out front pretending to get yogurt. Heather asks "is this your boyfriend?" and Chuck starts chatting them up. He finds out that Sarah is from San Diego. They asked Sarah if she's going to the reunion. Chuck makes a dinner date with them. Obviously Chuck flashes on the husband. Oh and through this whole conversation Sarah is looking pissed and uncomfortable.
Underground Orange Orange, Sarah is yelling at Chuck about dinner. General comes on and brief's them, telling them that Chuck's instinct about dinner were good. Sarah tries to ask the General to let her sit this mission out saying that her cover is blown and it won't work out. The General tells Sarah her cover is a perfect cover for this and Sarah reputes saying, "But it's not a cover, it's me, not a cover." The General makes them do it anyways.
Chuck is knocking on Sarah's door. She opens up and looks pissed and says, "you're early." Chuck says he's actually on time, he is here for his debreifing. Sarah seems confused. Chuck is just trying to get info on Sarah's past, playing it off as getting info for the mission tonight. Sarah refuses to tell him anything, Chuck keeps pressing for info and Sarah snaps and says "Back off Chuck, you have as much info as needed for the mission." Chuck says, "so is Jenny spelled with an "I"?" Sarah says, "all jenny's boyfriend needs to know is that jenny doesn't like to talk about her past." And that's when Sarah grabs the pencil out of Chuck's hands and throws it towards the picture of them (the picture is of them when they were in palm springs finding Roan, the outfit is the same.)
Dinner. They're reminiscing and Heather keeps making fun of Sarah. Mentioning how she used to be ugly and now she's so pretty now, she asks Sarah how her father is and Sarah looks upset. Mark the husband goes to the bathroom and goonies are there threatening him, Chuck comes in and gets in the middle and Casey comes in to save the day. The problem is that Mark was locked in one of the stalls and didn't see anything and when he comes out, Casey left so mark thinks that chuck is the hero, the husband is impressed so chuck plays along and says he's a secret agent, "Carmichael, special agent Charles Carmichael.". Apparently the husband is suppose to hand over some super design for a bombing jet that he made to bad people.
Back at underground Orange Orange they get the husband to agree to have the meet with the bad guys at the reunion.
Sarah is kickboxing in her apartment. We flash back to her highschool years. A jock approaches her and says, "Hey Jenny, you must be pretty lonely with your dad locked up, call me if you ever need a man around the house." Back to the present, Chuck is knocking on the door. She opens and he has a present, it's a dress and he tells her they have to go to the reunion. Sarah apologizes for being snappy and says highschool was bad for her. Chuck tells her it'll be ok and that highschool was better than people remember it to be.
We're at the reunion and Sarah is looking nervous and unhappy to be there. Chuck tries to make her feel better and says "hey, i'm not going to let anyone mess with you ok. I got your back." he notices her high school picture and says, "woah!" Sarah is looking awkward wishing he didn't see that and chuck tells her it's not that bad.
The Jock in her flashback notices Sarah and comes over trying to hit on her. Chuck introduces himself as the boyfriend they shake and chuck flashes on his tattoos. They realize that's the guy wanting to buy the husband's plans. So mark (the husband) and chuck approaches him to tell him they need to go out to do business. Now we're outside and the jock is sitting on his car hood waiting. Sarah is walking towards the jock, he starts to hit on her and talking about her dad in jail. he grabs her ass and she knocks him out. Casey and Sarah opens the jock's car trunk and see's that it's just drugs and alcohol and he's not the guy they were looking for. Then we jump to the reunion inside and heather (Nicole Richie) is on the phone and we realize she's the perp. She calls people to come and kill chuck and her husband cause she's been compromised.
Chuck flashes on the bad guys trying to kill him. casey takes care of the two guys trying to kill chuck and sarah goes after heather. we see the cat fight in the locker room. she kicks heather's ass. all is saved like usual. sarah walks back into the dance room looking all wet and bloody, she enters right in time for the announcing of the reunion queen and it's sarah.
We're in Sarah's apartment. Chuck brought her a raw frozen hamburger patty for her bruises. Sarah tells him, "isn't it suppose to be a raw steak?" Chuck tells Sarah he couldn't afford that on his buy more paycheck so he had to go with a burger, but he had left over change to buy her a cooked one. medium rare with extra pickles. Sarah is pleasantly surprised he knew what she wants. Chuck says, "so i guess your big secret is you used to be a typical high school student, i wish i knew what happened to change that." after he says that Sarah has a flashback. We're back to the scene where she was digging up the box full of cash from her father for emergency. Sarah hears a noise and pulls out her knife and throws it hitting a tree almost hitting .....GRAHAM. he tells her that he's the man that put her father in jail, he asks her who is she. and then he starts naming all the names she's used in a bunch of different cities. sarah interrupts and says "i get it, what do you want". he says her father scammed dangerous people and by putting him in jail, he saved his life. Sarah says "don't expect a thank you note." graham tells her he can save her life too, Sarah pauses and puts out her hands thinking she's going to be arrested, graham says "no not that way, your father trained you pretty well but the CIA can do even better. you like names so much, what do you think about Sarah walker." then we come back to present and chuck is calling to her trying to get her attention. Sarah snaps out of her flashback and she says, "ok fine, i'll answer one question about my past, you've earned that much." chuck looks excited and he sits and ponders about the question for a while. he finally says, "no thanks. I don't need to know more, not about who you were, cause as much as you don't think so, i know who you are. a girl i'd like to share a cheeseburger with." Sarah looks happy and smiles at him. chuck says "should i get a knife?" and Sarah says that's not necessary and pulls out a knife from her ankle and chuck says "that's awesome and a little disturbing." Sarah giggles.

Episode 2.13
Title: Chuck vs The Third Dimension Airdate: TBA
We got hold of a bunch of script pages (for casting) from episode 13, the one with the cocky rock star, Tyler Martin. Tyler has just come back from Africa, and some of his new CDs have a secret ticket to a special concert he's playing, which will be filmed in 3-D. Tyler plays an in-store event at the Buy More, and his manager asks for a buffer between Tyler and the nerds. Casey stabs Tyler with his Buy More pen, tranquilizing him so they can drag him away for questioning.
Tyler pees in a fountain outside, and remarks on what a great restroom this is, because the ceiling looks just like the night sky. Chuck tells Tyler the record company hired him to keep him safe, and tries to convince him to stay put, but Tyler says it's "party night" and drags Chuck along. Tyler tosses Chuck's phone in the fountain. Tyler winds up talking Chuck into going partying, promising to be the greatest wing man ever. Chuck gets surrounded with beautiful women. Tyler tells Chuck to "taste the many flavors of the world," and shows Chuck his many tattoos in various languages, commemorating the amazing things he's done.
Meanwhile, Morgan says he has an extra ticket to the Tyler Martin premiere, and it would normally go to his best friend Chuck, but Chuck isn't into Tyler Martin. So Jeff and Lester have the opportunity to compete to be Morgan's "vice best friend" and go with Morgan. They have to compete by wearing 3-D glasses, and the one who takes them off last wins. They get woozier and woozier.
Tyler tells all the hot women that Chuck writes all his songs, and is a great bass player and a gifted lover. Meanwhile, Tyler is in danger from Achmed the Super Fan, who has a trench coat lined with grenades.
In one scene, Chuck warns Tyler not to go into a bedroom with some bodacious groupies, because they're really assassins. Tyler shoves Chuck in there, because Chuck needs the action more than he does. Chuck asks the "vixens" if he can go splash water on his face, and they say sure as long as he leaves his pants behind. So Chuck leaves his pants, but then the vixens wind up throwing a dagger at him and he ends up on the window ledge talking to Sarah on the phone.
And later, our heroes are looking for the bad guy who's out to harm Tyler, and they think they can recognize him by his trademark trench coat — but the bad guy gives identical trenchcoats to a dozen or so teenage fans, along with free tickets to Tyler's concert.
Achmed the Super Fan finally tracks down Chuck and Tyler, and Chuck says he knows all about the connection between Tyler's tattoos and the enriched uranium that Achmed is trying to sell. (Achmed used Tyler's foreign-language tattoos to move important secrets around the world.) Chuck threatens to send an email unless Achmed hands over the gun. Achmed complies, but then has a retractable knife to stab Chuck with. Tyler saves Chuck and they run away, and they wind up running out on stage, where Tyler's band starts to play because they see their frontman. Finally, Casey and Sarah get Achmed, and Tyler plays his concert.
In the end, Casey tells Tyler he has to get his fancy tattoos removed, and Tyler agrees. Tyler tells Chuck they can party together any time, and Chuck says it's not his scene. Tyler tells Sarah he threw every beautiful woman in the world at Chuck, but all Chuck did was talk about Sarah. She is stunned. [Casting pages]
