Chuck - Latest from Kristin Nick in Spokane, Wash.: What's up with Jeffster from Chuck? Any CD or tour plans? Will they be on the next season? As of now, Vik Sahay, one half of the band Jeffster with fellow Chuck star Scott Krinsky, says there is no action yet on the CD or touring fronts. "There's been some talk about something, but I can't imagine it really happening. Some people have said put out an album, and I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' " he says. But the good news is that NBC has confirmed that Jeffster will perform on the show next season. If Vik had his say, here's how it would go: "I'd hope we'd go into more of the '80s rock thing, like Poison or Bon Jovi—get to tease my hair up." Source: E!Online

Chuck - Kristin Kreuk joins cast If I didn’t know better I’d say Chuck’s got a thing for Superman. On the heels of Brandon Routh’s casting as a love interest for Sarah comes word that Smallville vet Kristin Kreuk is joining Chuck for multiple episodes as Hannah, a girl Chuck meets on a flight to Paris. “Chuck and Hannah definitely have feelings for each other,” teases an insider. Laid off from her glamorous publishing job, Hannah ends up working at the Buy More. (I’m sure that won’t prove distracting to the horny nerd herders at all!) This marks Kreuk’s first major TV gig since leaving Smallville. Let me take this opportunity to once again plead with NBC to move up Chuck’s premiere date. Making us wait until March would be cruel, unusual, and punishing. Please. I beg you. I’ll even give that horrible show about nurses another shot. Source: EW

Chuck - Casting News - Angie Harmon to Guest Captain Awesome is in danger of becoming Captain Deadasadoornail if this latest Chuck casting scoop is any indication: Ex-Law & Order ADA Angie Harmon has signed on to guest star in this season’s fourth episode as Sydney, a spy for the Ring who wants to whack Ryan McPartlin’s awe-obsessed alter ego. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it three times in the past week: NBC, please don’t make us wait until March for new Chuck episodes. I’ll do anything you want. I’ll even forgive you for Knight Rider. And Coupling. Just name your price. Source: EW

Latest From AusielloQuestion: I went to high school with Shonda Rhimes. I have the yearbook from her freshman year to show you. Now that I have your attention by shamelessly dangling the Grey’s Anatomy connection carrot, any news if Bonita Friedericy will be returning as General Beckman in the third season of Chuck? —Natalie Ausiello: Yes. A lot. Now cough up that picture. That could prove very valuable when I start negotiating my next Grey’s cover. Source: EW

Chuck - Vinnie Jones to Guest Vinnie Jones is making a foray into series television with two projects. The British actor is attached to star in a hourlong series for Alex Cole's Elevate Entertainment and Jay Firestone's Canadian production company Prodigy Pictures. Additionally, Jones has been tapped to guest star on NBC's dramedy "Chuck," where he will play Karl Stromberg, an expert hit man with a soft side. The untitled new series, based on an upcoming comic book series by Howard Chaykin, centers on Jake Noble, an international spy who teams with his long-lost daughters he never knew existed. "I never really thought of TV before as a medium for me," Jones said. "However, with it becoming such a source of creativity these days, and this project with its modern James Bond style and feeling to it, I couldn't resist." Elevate and Prodigy plan to produce 22 episodes independently at a budget of about $2 million an episode. The project, executive produced by Cole, Firestone, Jenny Wood and Seth Howard, will be presented next month in Cannes at the MIP confab. The series is one of eight projects in the works at recently launched management/production company Elevate. Prodigy recently produced the miniseries "XIII" for NBC. Source: Hollywood Reporter
