Filming Updates - Jack's Car and Island Losties Spotted!! Source: SpoilerTVWith production for Season 5 of LOST in full swing we bring you a couple of more set reports and pics!! The LOST crew was hard at work filming in two separate parts of the island today. The first set was in a parking garage where Jack's car (Ford Bronco) was spotted, while the other crew was setup on the beach doing some Jungle scenes with several of the island Losties, including Sawyer, Juliet, Rose, Bernard, Charlotte and Miles!! Looks like the whole gang is there and OK! I was surprised to hear that the good dentist (Bernard) makes an appearance, but good to see he is back filming with ALL of the other cast members as well. Apparently they were filming a scene in the jungle and it was for the season premiere Because You Left. Also it seems like Jack's car is in the same spot when he met Kate after her trial in Eggtown. What do you all think!? Thanks to Ryan!

More filming updates Source: SpoilerTVWe went out and saw them filming a scene with Elizabeth Mitchell and Josh Holloway. We also saw Vincent the dog! The scene had Sawyer, shirtless and in jeans, talking to Juliette. We also think they may have been shooting with “Rose” as well, as when we were walking by, we heard someone ask if Rose was ready and miked up… When we made our way back, security for the property saw us and then walked us through a wooded trail back to our car — because if we would have went back via the beach, we would have been in the shot. As we walked through the woods, we saw some tent-like structures that were probably used at some point for filming. Because we didn’t want to get into trouble, I only snapped photos from far away. I did get a good one of Vincent though! Source: Hawaii BlogTo see his photos, Click the link. Thanks to Ryan again.

First new casting for Season 5 Ausiello has the scoop on the first confirmed casting. Her name is Zuleikha Robinson and you can see here IMDB page here. Here name isn't exactly a household one, but something tells me that's all about to change. In what reps the first major piece of casting for Lost's fifth season, sources confirm to me exclusively that Zuleikha Robinson has been tapped to play the pivotal role of Illana. Couple things: Before you ask, it's pronounced Zoo-Lika. And she's done stuff. Some high profile stuff. Like Fox's short-lived New Amsterdam, where she played Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's partner in crime. Prior to that, the London-born actress slaved away as Gaia on HBO's Rome and, in her first big break, had a regular gig on another ill-fated Fox drama, the X-Files spinoff The Lone Gunmen. Robinson's Lost deal calls for her to start off as a recurring player with an option to become a series regular in season 6 (a.k.a. the farewell season). As I first reported last month, Ilana is described as a European female who possesses great intelligence, but who's also dangerous as all get out. She's alluring and apparently used to getting her own way. At the time, EW's Doc Jensen mused that she Illana "sounds exactly like the kind of lethal lady Sayid would fall for. So I’m wondering if the dashing Iraqi is due for a new love interest, yet another lady whose true motivations will be in question." Team Darlton's not commenting on Doc's theory, or Robinson's casting for that matter (this radio silence thing is going to be the death of me!), so I guess we'll just have to wait until the new season kicks off in (ugh) five long months to see if he's right. In the meantime, go ahead and weigh in on Lost's first big season 5 casting and, while you're at it, feel free to toss out your own Ilana theories. Source: EW

Filming Update - Hurley In Kaimuki, they were filming at the corner of 9th and Waialae Avenue. It is an accident scene where Hurley(stunt double was driving) speeds down the street and knocks over some boxes on the sidewalk before driving off. He's being chased by someone you'll never guess..... Ana-Lucia in a Police car. She was in the car the whole time, so I couldn't 100% confirm it was her but I'm pretty sure. I just don't want to speculate and be wrong. She had HUGE glasses on. I'm guessing flashback or hallucination. I should add that the stunt guy was wearing hospital type garb, so that's why I think it is in the present. Source: I am Joe King@DarkUFO

More filming updates and photos What a treat it was to go to work yesterday and LOST was filming right in front of my store in Kaimuki on Waialae St. It was a Car Chasing scene definitely set in LA as I could tell from the cop car. Hurley had blood on him, and Sayid was also on the set. I couldnt make a connection story wise. There was a black man in a business suit with a suit case as well... See the photos HERE! or HERE!

Yet more filming reports! Anyway we took some pics of the old beach from season 1, the waterfall, the other's houses, etc. At the end of the day we decided to look at one more site, Police Beach, and we came up on them shooting a beach scene. In the scene was Sawyer, Juliet, Charlotte, Miles, AND Faraday. The raft was on the beach. It seemed that Faraday was telling them something but we weren't aloud to get to close. So Faraday's alive or......it's a flashback of some sorts. lol See the photos HERE! or HERE!

Filming Update - LOST Fueling Up
Here is another filming update from our good friend Ryan. Today we get word that Sayid, Hurley, Kate and Aaron were filming at the "Smith Stop and Run" gas station. Hurley was not in a robe or a hospital gown so this scene probably takes place a day or so after the other scenes with Hurley and Sayid. However, we have no confirmation on which episode is being filmed, but Ryan thought it might be for Episode 5x02.
The other key points are that Sayid is looking either "injured or tired" and that the gas price is listed at $3.22/gallon, which gives us a time frame of May 2007.
So what is up with these 4 members of the Oceanic 6!? Sayid and Hurley flee a scene and Kate and Aaron show up!?
Seems to be a bunch of running and chase scenes for many of the recent spoilers on and off island, so what do you think everyone is running from...!? Do you even care...or just want more info on what is happening on island!?
Here are a couple of pictures and Ryan's report:

Abaddon Will Appear in Season 5 I know this is something we already knew, but Ausiello was at the Fringe Premiere party and Lance Reddick confirmed that he would appear but never said how many times. Ausiello also spoke to JJ Abrams who said he would be interested in directing an episode before the series ended. Below is Ausiello's post about Reddick and I posted the video of the interviews in the Media Mentions section here: JJ Abrams Interested in Directing an Episode

Latest from TV Guide Will Richard Alpert (Nestor Carbonell) become a regular on Lost? And is he Locke's father? — Doris Matt: Though the cancelation of Cane certainly freed him up — and the Lost bosses have been clear about their big plans for the time-traveling, never-aging Mr. Alpert — "series regular" status still eludes Carbonell. Even so, a spy tells me we will see Richard very early in the new season... and often. As for your Locke's Daddy theory, that was a new one to the few moles I ran it by. Source: TV Guide

New Casting Confirmed The role of Caesar has been cast and will be played by Saïd Taghmaoui. Here is his IMDB Profile. Also mentioned in EW's article is that will be seeing Frank Lapidus again. Hungry for an appetizer of Lost scoop as you impatiently starve for the start of season 5, which bows in early ’09? Then feast on this: Executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof tell EW they’ve just completed casting of two major new characters joining their saga next year. Last week, Michael Ausiello reported the addition of New Amsterdam alum Zuleikha Robinson. This week, we’d like to introduce you to Saïd Taghmaoui, a French thesp most recently seen in the Don Cheadle thriller Traitor. He’ll play Caesar, a mystery man who... um... well, that’s all we got. But the producers say the actor’s skill set fits the part. “He has an innate intelligence, intensity, and danger we really responded to,” says Lindelof, who declined to specify whether Caesar is good or bad, though he did tease that the character will be playing “an important part of the setup for the final act of the show in season 6." He also confirms that Robinson’s Ilana is associated with Caesar, and Cuse likens her to Heath Ledger’s Joker in The Dark Knight. “There was something very unsettling about the way the Joker kept telling different stories about his background -- something very similar to what we had planned for Ilana,” he says. Look for a delayed introduction for the duo, beginning with an intriguing set-up followed by a gradual increase in screen time that won't detract from established faves, much like how season 4’s newbies, the Freighter Folk (Jeremy Davies, Rebecca Mader, Ken Leung, Jeff Fahey), were worked into the mix. (The producers say we’ll be seeing more of the FF next year, too — even Fahey, last seen escaping the Island with the Oceanic 6). FYI: Zuleikha rhymes with You-Like-A, while Saïd sounds just like Lost’s own Sayid. In fact, Taghmaoui also played — get this — the Iraqi soldier who tortured Mark Wahlberg in Three Kings. Should theorists be looking for hidden meaning in this seemingly coincidental linkage? “No,” says Lindelof. “Just... no.” Oh, okay. But how about the theory that Smokey is... [Click] Hello? Hello?! Episode 5x03 - Desmond Spotted!! Hot off the digital presses we finally get a confirmation about a Desmond sighting!! Our good friend Ryan once again found his way to the LOST set today and was able to provide us with a new report. Ryan was able to confirm that Henry Ian Cusick was indeed on set and he was able to watch a couple of scenes. It seems like Des has found his way to a Philippines beach market and is looking for someone!? Nope not Penny, but Ryan posts that it seems like someone named: Althea or Theone with a last name of Salonga. From a previous casting call, Solanga is supposed to be a village doctor. What do you think this could all mean!? Is this a Des Centric episode!? Is he mind flashing again!? Who is sick and why does need the doctor!? Maybe some more of that Dharma Vaccine to help him flash... Here are some of the key points from the report along with some new set pics: Thanks to Ryan and SpoilerTV again!!
