Robert Forster Joins the Cast as Arthur Patrelli With all the love for the Patrelli boys and their mom Angela, several fans have been wondering if we would ever see their father Arthur. Earlier spoilers confirmed that we would indeed see the story of Arthur and Angela Patrelli and today comes word from Ausiello at EW that Robert Forster has just signed on for Season 3 to play MR. Patrelli. Here are the details: He's alive! Or is he? Sources confirm to me exclusively that Heroes has tapped acting vet Robert Forster to play Nathan and Peter's presumed-dead pops, Arthur Petrelli. Given Heroes' penchant for time travel, though, there's no telling if we'll see Arthur in the present, via flashback, or during one of Hiro's little excursions. Another unknown: whether Arthur will use his powers ('cause you know he's got 'em) for good or evil. Rumors of Arthur's possible "resurrection" this season have been burning up the Internets for months. And while it's not clear when Forster will first turn up, at press tour last month, his on-screen widow, Cristine Rose, hinted in this video interview that a bombshell would be dropped in the two-hour premiere on Sept. 22. "There's a secret that comes out that if you're a true fan, you're just going to die," she teased. "It's a good Angela secret, and it's [not about] her powers." Well, considering the first hour of the premiere was screened at Comic-Con, and, per multiple eyewitnesses, no such Angela secret was revealed, it's safe to say the big reveal will take place in hour 2. Of course, whether or not said reveal is related to Arthur is also a big fat unknown. It's all speculation, people! Source: EW

Season3 Casting Update - Two New Characters Well it seems like Season 3 of Heroes will add two MORE characters to the mix. This time around it does not seem like they will be Villains, but according to EW's Ausiello, they are comic book obsessed characters named Doogie and Seth. Both the characters are supposed to "important advisers" to at least one of the series regulars. What that means I have no idea, but here is the video where he reveals the scoop: NOTE: After the Heroes news, there is a scoop for The Office. Click Here to see the video

More Spoilers on Adrian Pasdar's Video Here we have two more videos posted yesterday by Adrian Pasdar. The first one is about Comic-Con and has an epic song that fits perfectly well with the moment. This second video is shot in what is supposed to be Mohinder's lab, and in a way confirms Mohinder "spiderman-like" powers as we can see Dania Ramirez who plays Maya trapped in a sort of web. www.youtube.com/watch?v=a54XdlgKF6cwww.youtube.com/watch?v=PrKxfDA-GlYThanks to SpoilerTV!

What's Ahead for Heroes Source: EOnline! Yay! Heroes really is coming back. That's the affirmation we've received this morning, as new sneak-peek descriptions of the first two episodes of the third season (airing back-to-back Sept. 22) were just released by NBC. First, what my sources are telling me: - EW's Michael Ausiello is right on the money (you sneaky frenemy you!). Seth Green and Breckin Meyer are in final talks to come on Heroes this season; however, as of late yesterday, they still had not signed a contract. Keep those fingers and toes crossed, 'cause I'm hearing what they have in store for these boys is fantastic.
- Kristen Bell will most definitely be back, beginning with the second episode (which is the second hour of the premiere) and most likely for a total of five episodes this season. I also hear (spoiler alert!) she is very much a part of the series in a very major way when they flash forward to the future. I think you'll be surprised over who she's hooking up with—and also might squee a little.
- Expanding on what the release says below, I can tell you that the huge reveals in the first few episodes include Sylar can-opening the head of a Hero we love, Sylar revealing definitively whether he plays Hannibal the cannibal with those brains, Mama Petrelli revealing something that changes the entire dynamic between many of the main characters (this is what I'm most excited about), Nathan Petrelli finding God and Peter is so not being himself.
Now here's what NBC can tell you: EPISODE 301
“THE SECOND COMING” – Sept. 22 “VOLUME 3: VILLAINS” MAKES A TWO-HOUR SPECIAL DEBUT WITH REVELATIONS THAT WILL REDEFINE FAMILIAR CHARACTERS AND SHAKE THE SERIES TO ITS CORE -- The first chapter of “Volume 3: Villains” kicks off moments after shots rang out, as the shocking identity of Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) assassin and the reasons why the Texas press conference had to be cut short are revealed -- immediately throwing Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Matt (Greg Grunberg) into unexpected, uncharted territory. With his powers partially restored, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) decides a visit to Claire (Hayden Panettiere) could give him a boost. Meanwhile, in Tokyo, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) are charged with safeguarding a family secret that could split the planet apart, and discover that the path to a grim future starts with shady speedster, Daphne (guest star Brea Grant). In New York City, thanks to Maya (Dania Ramirez), Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) makes a startling breakthrough that could change the world -- or just destroy his. And who is Tracy Strauss? Ali Larter, Cristine Rose and Jack Coleman star. Noah Gray-Cabey, Ashley Crow, Randall Bentley, Jimmy Jean-Louis, George Takei, Malcolm McDowell, Carlon Jeffery, Jamie Hector, Bruce Boxleitner, Francis Capra and Blake Shields guest star. EPISODE 302
“THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT” – Sept. 22 A DOZEN VILLAINS WITH UNIMAGINABLE POWER ARE UNLEASHED AFTER THE COMPANY IS ATTACKED -- SYLAR VS. ELLE (KRISTEN BELL) -- ANGELA PETRELLI (CRISTINE ROSE) TAKES CONTROL AND REVEALS A JAW-DROPPING SECRET -- WRITTEN BY CREATOR TIM KRING AND DIRECTED BY EXECUTIVE PRODUCER GREG BEEMAN -- In the shocking second chapter of “Volume 3: Villains,” Angela (Cristine Rose) clashes with her much-changed son, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia), over how best to avert a seemingly inevitable worldwide catastrophe. First, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) declares war on the Company by attacking their main facility, and finds even more than he bargained for on Level 5. During a devastating battle with Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), a dozen savage criminals -- all with terrible abilities -- escape. Meanwhile, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) discovers something new and unexpected about her abilities. Determined to reclaim his family’s terrible secret, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) track Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to Paris. After a fateful night, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is thrilled to find his research, his life and his relationship with Maya (Dania Ramirez) evolving in leaps and bounds. Stuck in unfamiliar territory, Matt (Greg Grunberg) finds a guide (guest star Ntare Mwine) to help him. Ali Larter, Adrian Pasdar and Jack Coleman star. Ashley Crow, Jessalyn Gilsig, Malcolm McDowell, Stephen Tobolowsky, Bruce Boxleitner, Francis Capra, Blake Shields, William Katt, Ken Lally, David H. Lawrence XVII, Andre Royo and Kiko Ellsworth guest star.

Heroes Coupling News!Source: Eonline! You might want to wear your sunglasses while watching the new season of Heroes 'cause I'm hearing of not one, but two scorchingly hot new hookups (one platonic, one not) among the characters we already know and love—and the news just may burn your retinas without proper precaution. Who's getting together? We just caught up with two Heroes who are spilling a little scoop... "There's going to be a little love affair," the always spicy Dania Ramirez told me of her character Maya in the new season, which starts Sept. 22 on NBC. "I don't think I should say much about it, but I can tell you: It's gonna be hot!" Um, I'll say. According to insiders, producers are forging a new über-couple between two Heroes regulars in season three—Maya and another Hero—which will serve as a major story arc and which will prove to be a powerful combination. If you saw the amazing premiere screening at Comic-Con (it rocked, did it not?), you probably know who I'm talking about, so enlighten your friends in the comments, will ya? (I'd like to keep my scalp attached, if you pretty please.) Meanwhile, in other Heroic hookup news, the one and only Mr. Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) told me he's "getting a new life partner." So...yay! HRG is going gay! OK, he totally isn't (sorry to concern you, Mrs. B) but according to inside sources, Mr. Bennet is forming a surprising, platonic partnership with a certain head-splitting baddie who may or may not go by the name of...you got it...Sylar (Zachary Quinto). "It's going to be very interesting," Coleman promised of the new union. "I've been wanting to work with this actor for a very long time." But wait a minute, does this mean Mr. Bennet is going bad? Or is Sylar going good? The mind boggles. As for what else lies ahead, Coleman revealed that Clairebear (Hayden Panettiere) will be “a little more clued in as to what I’m up to. She actually sees what it is I do, and it gets pretty gnarly.” And Ramirez shared that while "last season I spent a lot of time dealing with my power, being a little gullible and being a little stressed about what I was, this season Maya is coming into her own." Translation: Sylar had better watch his back. "She hasn't forgotten what [Sylar] did to her brother," Ramirez continued. "And ultimately, she will find him!" If you want a reminder for the Heroes premiere in your calendar , click on "Fall Premiere Reminders" at right. Now, sound off below on what you think of these new partnerings!

On Set with Sylar - Filming a Flash Forward This is a very interesting interview with Zachary Quinto where he reveals a great deal of spoilers regarding Future Sylar. Here is a summary of the spoilers: 1) Apparently he has a son named Noah! 2) He uses Isaac's Future Painting Powers 3) They are living in he Bennett home 4) Noah is "gifted" Here is the full interview: Is it possible that one of television’s most sinister villains is going soft? You would think so from listening to Zachary Quinto -- who plays the evil Sylar on NBC’s “Heroes” -- talk about what fans can expect from his character in the forthcoming season, entitled “Villains,” which begins September 22nd. “There’s a softer side to my character in this episode,” said Quinto. The episode to which the actor is referring is the fourth of the popular show’s third season, and will feature another glimpse into a possible future for the expansive cast of characters. CBR News recently visited the set of the hit show and spoke to Quinto about his character, the series, and a few interesting surprises that fans can look for. “This is an alternative sort of reality,” explained Quinto of the episode he was shooting. “As our show does and has done in the past, you catch glimpses of time that may or may not actually come to fruition but are possibilities. Episode nineteen of Season One was called ‘Five Years Gone,’ and that whole episode was based on that premise. This episode has elements of that and my character is involved in those elements.” Quinto, who was dressed very “un-Sylar,” wearing Khakis and a button-down shirt, had his hands covered in paint for the scene. “There is a little bit of painting that happens in this scene as well,” he said. “Because I am put in a position to prove something to myself in this scene and I employ my old stand-by ‘paint the future’ power in order to do that.” In this episode’s glimpse at a possible future, our favorite villain is living a pretty normal life. Quinto explained, “What was the Bennet house is now inexplicably my house.” He also went on to drop this bombshell, “My son’s name is Noah. Isn’t that interesting?” That’s right -- Sylar has a son in the future and he named him Noah!” Quinto would not say who his son’s mother is, but when asked if the spawn of Sylar inherited any of his father’s powers, he did have something to share. “My son actually is a gifted child. He’s very subdue and cool both as an actor and a character.” Although Sylar may be different in the future, it sounds like fans can expect “present day” Sylar to be up to his old tricks. “There’s no softer side there,” joked the actor. “The great thing about my character this year is that he’s all over the map. In terms of his internal conflicts, the orders that he is given by certain people that have power over him this season and the situations that puts him in, it really forces him to employ a kind of restraint that you haven’t seen him necessarily need to employ before.” Of the new season, “Villains,” Quinto said, “It’s the most fun I’ve had on the show so far. That’s hard to say actually because the first season was amazing and last year was really exciting too, but it feels like it’s emerging unto itself.” “Heroes” employs a hectic shooting schedule that involves filming scenes from several episodes at the same time. “Right now I’m doing [episodes] two, four, eight and nine,” stated Quinto. When asked if shooting simultaneous episodes of a show known for jumping around its timeline is difficult, the actor was hopeful. “So far so good, but we’ll see.” Finally, Quinto shared his feelings on returning to the show after last year’s writers strike cut the second season short. “I think that the time we had away from the show really made all of us that much more grateful to come back and that much more excited,” he said. “It’s been so long since we’ve been on the air. All of us are just really a hundred percent committed to what we’re making this year. The response that we got at Comic-Con was so exciting and so enthusiastic that we’re really excited to carry that into the rest of the season with us.” “Heroes Volume Three: Villains” will begin attacking viewers September 22 on NBC. In an interview with the NY Post, Davis confirmed that she does indeed show up quite early in the season but not for too long. She also confirms with Monica not in the plans for Season 3 that creator Tim Kring did leave the door open for her to potentially return in the future.

Francis: Wait a minute! In your Heroes post you mentioned that the Greatest American Hero, William Katt, is going to be on the new season. Is he playing a hero or a villain? Believe it or not (sing it with me now!) he's, um, not walking on air. He'll play a villain of the worst kind: A...I hope you're sitting down for this..reporter. Actually, his character's name is "Reporter," and from what I hear, he has no special powers to speak of, other than his awesomely spherical 'do. In the second hour of the season premiere, we'll see Katt's character harassing Ali Larter's new character, Tracy Strauss, asking her about photos he found of her on lasvegasniki.com (back when Ali was Niki and Niki was a stripper). Tracy denies any connection, and my sense is, she honestly doesn't know of any.

Season 3 Update - Sylar's Baby and More Petrelli Family Fun
Kristin from E! Online answered a couple of more fan questions for her weekly spoilers report and confirmed that Sylar does indeed have a baby in the future. She speculates that she thinks it is Elle, but did not confirm it.
Also, once again she confirms that the Petrelli DNA has traveled around this show more than we know and that Peter and Nathan will have two more relatives revealed and both are big shocks. One is earlier in the season, while the second shock will be later. In a previous report, Kristin did say that their father Arthur did not count in the two. Adam!? HRG!? Who else could be walking around with Petrelli DNA!?
My guess is still on Sylar being one of the two new relatives and she did eliminate Ali Larter. So who could this other relative be!? Is it Elle!? We did have rumors last season that Elle and Claire will eventually be revealed as sisters.
What do you think!? Any thoughts!? Please select two choices in the poll.
