Wendy in Singapore: Kristin, thank you for all the Comic-Con reporting. Do you have any other Lost stuff? Especially about Kate seeing Sawyer again?
Actually, I just heard from a reliable source what the new nonflash story structure is supposed to be for season five, and here's what I can tell you:
1. What my source told me seems to jibe perfectly with everything we've heard straight from the mouths of Damon and Carlton at TCA and Comic-Con 2. It could be incredibly confusing 3. Think about the Jin and Sun episode from last season.
In particular, this new story structure (which we'll discuss more as it gets closer to the new season) seems to ease my biggest fear about season five: separated characters and character groups. So before the secret gets out and everyone starts bitching about the confusing part, I'd like to say thanks, writers, for listening to us fans about wanting to see our faves continue to share adventures. Cheers.

Latest from TV Guide It looks like since Ausiello left TV Guide that they have even less spoilers than before I know Skaters and Jaters are asking about their Lost couples, but please don't ignore us Jacketeers! Is there hope for a Jack-Juliet reunion? – TamunaMatt: Hope? Sure. It's just a matter of where (back on the island, I can only assume) and when (perhaps as early as this coming season, at least one source tells me). And for those fretting about Elizabeth Mitchell's future with the show, I am assured that Juliet figures very heavily into Season 5. Me, I see her and Sawyer (wet and shirtless or even dry and clothed) taking charge as Locke and his band of worshippers move forth with whatever cockamamie plan they have in mind. Source: TV Guide

Newsfrom Secretagentman
They begin shooting #501 on Aug. 17th. A couple new recurring characters, who may be regulars in season 6. A 40ish dangerous, intelligent man whose intentions are unclear (really? on this show?) and a 30ish charming, brilliant and dangerous European woman with a dark, mysterious past.

New cast members being added here is information about who they will play and what type of role they will have on LOST More returning cast news Exclusive TV News and Scoop | Ausiello Files | EW.comAusiello: Damn straight you will! John Terry (Christian) and Alan Dale (Widmore) are in talks to return next season on a recurring basis. Big frakkin’ whoop, right? Well, here’s where it gets interesting: In the fine print of both their contracts, it states that Lost has the right to pick up series regular options on both actors for the show’s sixth and final season. For insight into what this could possibly portend for Lost’s endgame, please join me in welcoming the man, the myth the legend, guru of all things Lost, Mr. Doc Jensen! “The prospect of expansive roles for Jack's maybe-dead dad and Penelope's dastardly deep-pocketed pop suggests a theory about the Island's true significance. Here is a seemingly-magical place where the lame can walk anew, the impotent can once more shoot bullets, and anyone can crank on ancient donkey wheels and leap through time. In other words, the Island provides the means for death-spooked mortals to cheat the grim reaper. I'm betting that's why Old Man Widmore is so desperate to find it. As for Ghost Dad, the Island allows him to stick around in his inexplicable spectral state and might even be facilitating a full-blown bodily resurrection; either scenario represents a violation of the natural order of things. In the end, Jack will no doubt have to convince his father — and possibly his maybe-dead half-sister Claire, too — that they need to move on. Regardless, keeping Terry around portends an emotional climax to Jack's father issue arc.” Really? You got all of that from my one little casting item? Cool.

Scoop: 'Lost' Finds New Season 5 Blood! Aug 7, 2008, 11:23 AM | by Michael Ausiello Categories: Production on Lost's fifth season gets underway in 12 days, so that can only mean one thing: Fresh intel is starting to pour in!
Sources confirm that Team Darlton is looking to introduce two new characters this season – and they're both as mysterious as they are lethal. They're also coming in as recurring players with an option to become series regulars in season 6.
First up is Caesar, a dangerous, physical and extremely intelligent male between the ages of 35 and 45. Although his intentions are unclear, this much is certain: He's as skillful at charming people as he is at killing them. He also has a dark past, but, c'mon, that much was a given.
The other newbie is Ilanna, a European female in her late 20s to early 30s who possesses great intelligence, but who's also dangerous as all get out. She's alluring and apparently used to getting her own way. What does it all mean?! Don't ask me, ask Jeff Jensen! Better yet, I will: "Caesar, eh? My mind immediately links to Planet of the Apes. Caesar was the primate that led his fellow apes in a revolt against their human slavers. So... remember when Ben made that cryptic reference last season to an Other that preceded him in leadership? The “Hostile” who ordered the gassing of the Dharma Initiative, a.k.a. “The Purge”? Assuming that dude ain’t Jacob, could he be this “Caesar”? As for Ilanna, she sounds exactly like the kind of lethal lady Sayid would fall for. So I’m wondering if the dashing Iraqi is due for a new love interest, yet another lady whose true motivations will be in question." Um... my thoughts exactly! Thanks, Jeff! Casting for both roles is just now getting started, so feel free to use the comments section below to state your case for a particular actor/actress. Woo-hoo! Lost (scoop) is back!

FrancoisChau Interview - More of Dr. Candle in Season 5!!
So ever since returning from Comic Con and watching the new leaked Dharma video I was thinking it would be cool if someone could interview Francois Chau, the actor who plays Dr. Pierre Chang aka Dr. Candle (Wickmund and Haliwax).
Well guess what!? Our good friend Josh over at Lostspoilers.org scored an interview!! Not only did he get the interview he was able to get some potential spoilers for Season 5 of LOST.
Chau confirmed that we are supposed to see more of Dr. Candle in Season 5 and that Orchid Video Locke watched was 1 of 3 videos. Chau also confirmed that he knew who the crying baby and voice behind the camera are, but could not reveal the info.
Yes, maybe nothing major for some of you, but either way this is a great little interview and worth the read.

Episode5x02 and 5x03 - Casting Update
As promised LOST Spoilers Season officially opened this week!!
The latest comes from our good friend SecretAgentMan (SAM) who has provided us with some new casting information for Season 5 of LOST.
Two new characters will appear in the second and third episodes of the season, but both characters are British. Now the first thing that pops into mind are connections to possibly to the Desmond/Penny/Widmore storyline. Of course not necessarily, but I do hope we get more of that story.

Season5 Casting Call for a New Villain
Well looky here, everyone is getting into the LOST Spoilers Season spirit. First SAM and now Ausiello from EW is reporting that the LOST producers are looking for someone to play Dan a new villain for season 5.
According to the report, the name Dan has a biblical connection, but Ausiello is speculating that this person will be one of Widmore's men.
Do you think this is connected to the casting news we just posted from SAM for Episodes 5x02 and 5x03??

Lost Producers looking for large prop The Lost producers are looking for two ships, both need to be seaworthy. The main one they wanted was a big black ominous looking ship, but the ship company didn't have anything that was even remotely similar to what they described. However, they booked another ship and it's going to be a chase ship which goes after the big black one. The chase ship is the oldest ship in the marina and it looks like it's from the 1500's. Do you know why they would want boats that looked to be several hundred years old? They want to film out in the Pacific off the California coast in early September. Source: Full Report@The ODI

Details from Open Casting Call Source: IslaBonita@TheODIHey All, After posting that there was an open casting call this past weekend in Hawaii, one of my readers from Hawaii grabbed her sister and they went down to the casting area. Luckily she sent over a couple of reports and pictures for us to enjoy. Here is the post I made on my site: In addition to the Spanish speaking people, it seems like the casting people were actually looking for any one who knew a foreign language and it seems like the producers might be searching for several different Aarons!? NOTE: In the first picture I tried to screencap the person that apparently the casting people were "VERY" interested in. It is not the one sleeping in the chair, but the bald guy in the background. Click the image to enlarge it. Here are the reports:
