Jill left Chuck for his roommate, Bryce Larkin. Bryce later framed chuck in his graduation year of cheating by planting test papers in his room. After Several years of hating Bryce Chuck finally figured out that he had done it so that Chuck would not have to join the CIA. Chuck has some seniority at Buy More, leading a group of younger Nerds. In the first episode, he submits his application for assistant manager -- although he's discouraged by his co-worker Harry, who thinks Chuck is "too weak to leave the Herd." Sarah Walker Sarah Walker is a CIA agent charged with extracting the government secrets from Buy More employee Chuck Bartowski. Sarah works for Graham at the CIA. Her boyfriend, Bryce Larkin, went "rogue" and stole secrets from the CIA and NSA. To keep an eye on Chuck, Sarah takes a job at Wienerlicious, a gourmet hot dog franchise in the same complex as Chuck's Buy More. It was revealed in Chuck vs. the Wookiee that Sarah's real middle name is Lisa; the only thing that is known to be true about her life, besides the relationship between her and Bryce. Nonetheless, neither of those facts are known by Chuck as Sarah merely whispers her middle name after Chuck walks away and adamently refuses to resolutely admit that she had anything beyond an "unusual" relationship with Bryce. In Season 1 Episode 8, Sarah clearly shows conflicted feelings over witnessing Chuck and Lou talking together, which may indicate her feelings for Chuck have grown beyond mere protection. This is supported by Carina's comment in "Chuck vs. the Wookiee" that "she loves taking what Sarah wants" when she suggests she and Chuck get together. When Chuck insists Sarah has no feelings for him Carina simply replies "She probably doesn't even know it herself yet." Played by, Yvonne Strahovski BiographyEarly lifeShe was born in Maroubra, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia . Yvonne first learned to speak Polish then she learned English in school. She is a graduate of University of Western Sydney's Theatre Nepean with a Bachelor of Arts in Performance. Acting CareerYvonne is represented by Sue Barnett & Associates in Surry Hills, Australia. Strahovski appeared in some roles in Australian film and television and currently appears as Sarah Walker in the American television series Chuck. She sent in her audition tape for the show "Chuck" from Australia. Six months later she moved to the United States and was cast as the leading lady on "Chuck" two days later. Filmography -- IMDB

John Casey John Casey is a ruthless NSA agent assigned to keep tabs on Chuck along with CIA agent Sarah Walker. To do this, he works undercover as a Buy More employee alongside Chuck. His job in the NSA is usually just killing people. He was also the agent that shot and supposedly killed Bryce Larkin in the Pilot episode. He lives the same apartment complex as Chuck, but his apartment has two floors while Chuck and Ellie's has one. This proximity allows him to listen in on Chuck's conversations and keep an ear out for possible "flashes". He eats peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch (Episode 112: Chuck vs. the Undercover Lover), reveres Ronald Reagan (Episode 106: Chuck vs. the Sandworm), and listens to Neil Diamond while drinking scotch when he's depressed (Episode 112: Chuck vs. the Undercover Lover). In his spare time he likes to tend his bonsai (Episode 110: Chuck vs. the Nemesis) and wash and wax his 1985 Crown Victoria (Episode 111: Chuck vs. the Crown Vic). John had a relationship in 2004 with a French Secret Service agent named Ilsa (she was also undercover, posing as a Russian photojournalist) that started in a Roman flower market and ended when she was supposedly killed in an explosion in Grozny, Chechnya. They met again four years later while she was on assignment in Los Angeles, about to be married to a Russian mafioso. They worked together to successfully capture the mob boss, but did not end up together - Ilsa left for another assignment (Episode 112: Chuck vs. the Undercover Lover). While he claims to barely tolerate Chuck, John seems to get along pretty well with Chuck's sister, Ellie Bartowski and she appears to like him as well. She invites him to Thanksgiving dinner in the first season (Episode 110: Chuck vs. the Nemesis) and tells her brother that she thinks John is "so sweet!", much to Chuck's discomfort. Played by, Adam Baldwin BiographyEarly lifeBaldwin was born in Chicago, Illinois. He studied at New Trier Township High School East at Winnetka, Illinois, and once worked as a truck driver. CareerAppearing in dozens of films since 1980, Baldwin rose to prominence as the troubled outcast, Ricky Linderman, in My Bodyguard (1980), and moved on to bigger roles in D.C. Cab (1983), Full Metal Jacket (1987), and Independence Day (1996). Baldwin won a SyFy Genre Award in 2006 for Best Supporting Actor/Television for his role as Jayne Cobb in Firefly. Baldwin was cast as the voice of Superman in the first DC Universe animated movie, Superman: Doomsday, based on DC Comics' The Death of Superman. Baldwin has also performed a voice for the Xbox 360 game Halo 3. Currently, he is playing a very similar role in Chuck to what he played in Firefly, that of a strong, literal-minded muscle man with a twitchy trigger finger and a weakness for femme fatale. Ellie Bartowski Ellie Bartowski is Chuck's older sister, a doctor. Chuck lives with Ellie and her fiancé, Captain Awesome. She is her little brother's biggest cheerleader, constantly pushing him to come out of his shell and move onto a bigger and better life. She invited "real, live women" to his birthday party (Episode 101: Pilot), counseled him to go back to Stanford and face his demons (Episode 107: Chuck vs. the Alma Mater) and thinks that Chuck's relationship with his new girlfriend, Sarah Walker, is a positive indicator that he is getting back on his feet. Ellie is an emergency room doctor. She and Awesome (a.k.a. Dr. Devon Woodcomb) started dating in medical school and she still has the sweater she wore when they first met in their epidemiology class (Episode 108: Chuck vs. the Truth). They have had their ups and downs, including her unflinchingly harsh critique of his less attractive qualities while she is under the influence of truth serum such as his constant use of the word "awesome" (Episode 108: Chuck vs. the Truth) and his inability to take a hint when Ellie says she prefers they purchase a widescreen television to a washer and dryer for their anniversary present to each other (Episode 112: Chuck vs. the Undercover Lover). Season One ended with Devon proposing to Ellie and presenting her with his great-granny's ring (Episode 113: Chuck vs. the Marlin). She is also an amazing cook and Chuck's best friend, Morgan Grimes, says her pot roast is his favorite meal (Episode 102: Chuck vs. the Helicopter). Morgan has had an obvious and very public crush on Ellie for almost two decades, which she finds more than a bit creepy and has required her to institute a "no-touch policy" in 1998 (Episode 112: Chuck vs. the Undercover Lover). Morgan's current relationship with his co-worker, Anna Wu, has somewhat eased Ellie's concern over further inappropriate comments or attempts at wooing. Most people seem to be wary of John Casey, but Ellie appears to have taken to him, telling her brother that she thinks he's "so sweet!" and going so far as to invite him to Thanksgiving dinner (Episode 110: Chuck vs. the Nemesis). She does, however, think his pajamas look like the ones worn by Dennis the Menace's father (Episode 108: Chuck vs. the Truth). Played by, Sarah Lancaster BiographyLancaster grew up in Overland Park, alongside her younger brother Daniel; Barbara, her mother, was a homemaker while her father, Michael, was a real estate agent. Eventually, his job aided in moving the Lancaster family to Mission Viejo, California. It was in California that Lancaster began taking acting classes. Her abilities landed her a talent agent, who helped the young eighth grader Lancaster in securing her first series regular role on Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1993. During this time, she was tutored on the set and took college courses at the University of California, Irvine to expedite her graduation from high school. After graduation from New Hart Jr. High, she moved to Los Angeles to further her acting career. Filmography -- IMDB

Captain Awesome Captain Awesome (aka Devon as revealed in "Chuck vs The Truth") is Ellie's 'perfect' boyfriend (now fiance) -- a handsome doctor who's friendly, athletic, but kind of a bonehead. He often acts as a "big brother" to Morgan and Chuck and gives them advice from how Morgan ought tuck in his shirt to seem more "mature" and how Chuck should "remember how to ride his bicycle" with his girlfriend, Sarah. Devon also teaches Chuck how to tango in "Chuck vs the Tango" although he inadvertantly teaches him only the female part. Otherwise, for all his boneheadness, "Captain Awesome" clearly adored Ellie from the moment he told her "LL Bean must have stolen the color [of her favorite green sweater] from her eyes" and continues to do so when he ungrudgingly buys Ellie a gift after she complains when the "last time he bought her something just because it was Monday" was in a fit of truthfullness via a truth serum (Chuck vs The Truth). In Chuck Versus the Marlin, Captain Awesome proposed to his long time girlfriend, Ellie Bartowski. As Chuck explains in the first episode, "Everything he does is awesome. Climbing mountains, jumping out of planes... Flossing..." Played by, Ryan McPartlin BiographyRyan McPartlin (b. 1975) plays Devon, aka "Captain Awesome", on "Chuck". Before Chuck, McPartlin was known for his roles as Hank Bennett on the soap opera Passions, and Riley Martin on the sitcom Living with Fran. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, McPartlin graduated with a degree in speech communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After graduating, Ryan decided to spend six months in Australia and New Zealand to explore the outback and decide which career path he should follow. It became clear that he wanted to be an actor, so he moved to Southern California to pursue his dream. He spends a great deal of his non-working time taking acting classes and says that his other passions include almost any outdoor physical activity, including scuba diving, tennis, snowboarding, and racquetball. Ryan is also serious about physical fitness and is a board-certified personal trainer. McPartlin has been married to actress Danielle Kirlin since October 26, 2002. Filmography -- IMDB

About the Intersect The Intersect was a computer system, network and database that contained and maintained a database of NSA and CIA secrets encoded as images. The Intersect was destroyed and it's database stolen by Bryce Larkin. The only current backup of the Intersect database is Chuck Bartowski's brain. CreationThe Intersect was created after 9/11 as a central database for the FBI, NSA, CIA to be used as a central, shared database and as a way to screen data to find patterns which may help identify threats. DestructionThe original Intersect was destroyed by the rogue CIA agent Bryce Larkin after he downloaded the secrets into a blackberry-like device. Transfer of the Intersect Database to ChuckBefore Bryce Larkin was killed by Major John Casey, Bryce emailed the secrets Chuck Bartowski who opened the email and inadvertently downloaded the national secrets of the Intersect directly into his brain. The only other copy of the Intersect's database was inside of Chuck's computer as the email sent by Bryce. Chuck's computer was accidentally destroyed by Sarah Walker in an attempt to retrieve it ninja-style from Chuck's house. This left Chuck as the only "backup" of the Intersect's database, which he can only retrieve by seeing images related to the content of the database. Being so valuable, the NSA and CIA have sent their best agents, Casey and Sarah, respectively, to protect him. New Intersect DatabaseA new Intersect computer is being built and Casey has standing orders to kill Chuck upon it's completion.

Smug and overbearing, Harry is convinced that Big Mike is going to promote him to assistant manager, a position he obtains when Chuck fails to show up to his interview because of spy business. Harry is hated by the other Buy More employees, finds great pleasure in tormenting Morgan, and does his utmost to reign supreme over all employees after he is promoted. His one true love seems to be his flirty and unfaithful wife, Mrs. Harry Tang. In a episode 8, "Chuck vs. The Truth," Tang moves to Hawaii with his wife, who we discover had been having an affair with Big Mike for six months; the affair was apparently the only reason Big Mike gave Harry the promotion since he felt guilty about "diddling the Lady Tang." Tang leaves with the belief that he is to be a new spy operative in Ouha, Hawaii - a smooth lie courtesy of Major Casey to explain themselves when Casey, Sarah, and Chuck were caught in the Home Theater Room talking to their bosses during Tang's investigation of what he believed will be an rendezvous between his wife and Morgan. Casey also further inflates Tang's ego and covers for Chuck when he tells Tang that Chuck was only a "small potato" to bring in Tang, the "big potato." Morgan Grimes -- Here!John Casey -- Here!
