Well, whatever their moniker, the Upper East Side's evil duo could repair their relationship as early as this week. Word is the two may even make plans to go away together... though I hear Ms. Waldorf will meet a new dude while en route.

New Gossip Gal Teases More "Scandalous" Shockers
In the same way that Heather Locklear made waves in the Melrose Place pool, Michelle Trachtenberg's Georgina has arrived on the Gossip Girl scene with a bang. In the matter of two episodes, she has made us call into question what we know and believe about "good girl" Serena — and there are more OMG moments to come, to hear the Buffy alumna tell it. TVGuide.com invited Trachtenberg — who also stars in ABC Family's The Circuit this June 8 — to preview the final two episodes of The CW serial's freshman run. (Gossip Girl airs Mondays at 8 pm/ET.) — Matt Webb Mitovich
TVGuide.com: When they first pitched you Georgina, was the b-i-t-c-h word openly used? Michelle Trachtenberg: Oh yeah, for sure. [Gossip Girl exec producer] Josh Schwartz called and was really supporting and adamant about me getting the role. He was like, "This character is going to come into the world and ruin everyone's lives and stir things up. She's a bitch and she enjoys it. She's not malicious not just to be difficult. She's malicious because that’s what makes her life enjoyable." All of those things sounded really good.
TVGuide.com: The idea of serving up some nasty appealed to you? Trachtenberg: Yeah. It's a character that I never really played before. I knew that people wouldn’t necessarily expect it from me, so why not keep people guessing constantly. And I knew I could have fun with it. It took a little convincing and prodding and whatnot, but eventually it felt like a fun thing to do.
TVGuide.com: I was reading that on the set, they call her "Georg-i-na," as in "rhymes with a female body part." Trachtenberg: Oh dear! Who told you that?
TVGuide.com: I believe it's Leighton Meester who's out there telling that tale. Trachtenberg: [Laughs] There are definitely many nicknames for Georgina.
TVGuide.com: What do you think Georgina's motive is for making Serena's life a living hell? Trachtenberg: She wants a friend. I know that may not seem like too much motivation, but to some people a friendship and the loss of a friendship can be devastating. Also, when Georgina sets her mind to something there's nothing that can stand between her and getting it.
TVGuide.com: Now that Serena's big secret is out, are we going to get the gritty details on how she "killed someone"? Trachtenberg: [Cryptically] Oh, I don’t know if the big, big secret is really out…. There's still a lot of stuff going on. But yeah, you're definitely going to get a lot of answers to your questions — [the May 12] episode really caters to the who, what, when where and how, and Georgina is definitely involved with it. It's nice and scandalous.
TVGuide.com: In the previews for this week, it looks like Serena and Dan are pretty much done. Does Georgina promptly move in on him? Trachtenberg: [Laughs] I'd be silly not to say there is a moment that Dan and "Sarah" share. Remember, Dan doesn’t really know who Georgina is, does he…?
TVGuide.com: Will we get a big cliffhanger or jaw-dropper in the season finale? Trachtenberg: Oh. yeah. There are a bunch of punched-in-the-face moments where you'll be like, "Oh, god." Not everyone's storylines will be tied up with a nice little colorful ribbon. They’ll absolutely make you want to tune in next season.
TVGuide.com: And what's the plan for you next season? Are you going to be a full-time cast member? Trachtenberg: I really don’t know. I keep getting all these "Congratulations!" but I'm like, "Dude, I have no idea." I'm not trying to be coy. It's really, truly a question for the powers that be.
TVGuide.com: The last time we spoke, I likened you to "the next Scarlett Johansson" — and you said you were going to run out and tell her I said so. Did you? Trachtenberg: No, but I actually just saw her Monday night. We always have lots of love for each other. Her aura is very cool, so I still take what you said as a compliment.
TVGuide.com: How is her engagement ring looking? Trachtenberg: It's gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous.
TVGuide.com: If you were in fact the next Scarlett Johansson, does that mean you need to go out and record some Tom Waits covers? Trachtenberg: [Laughs] Ohhhh…. Have you heard her first single?
TVGuide.com: [Flatly] Yes. Trachtenberg: I think it's pretty cool and ballsy. Singing is definitely a matter of nerves for me, so I don’t know that I'll be recording any albums soon!

The Devil Returns on "Reaper" for Midseason
May 13, 2008 (New York, New York) - The CW Network announced a fall launch date of September 1 and unveiled the schedule for its 2008-2009 season today at a presentation and party for advertisers, affiliates and national media in the Tent at Lincoln Center. The announcement was made by Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment, The CW.
"With shows that everyone is talking about, from Gossip Girl' and America's Next Top Model' to our upcoming 90210,' our new lineup has the best Monday-Friday schedule flow we have ever had at The CW," said Ostroff. "We are zeroed in on our target demo of young women 18-34 with both new and returning series, and each programming block provides a strong promotional platform for the following night. We're confident that the quality of our shows for the fall season will make The CW the destination for young women."
On Monday, the network will continue the successful combination of GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL. GOSSIP GIRL was the most buzz-worthy show of last season and had the highest concentration of female teens of any series on broadcast television. GOSSIP GIRL will return to its 8:00-9:00 p.m. slot, followed by ONE TREE HILL from 9:00-10:00 p.m. ONE TREE HILL's loyal fan base is the second youngest on television, and the series continued to grow last season despite its time period move.
On Tuesday, 90210, the most eagerly anticipated series of the fall, will premiere in the 8:00-9:00 p.m. timeslot. A fresh interpretation of the iconic 1990's drama "Beverly Hills, 90210," this spin-off features a dynamic cast of up-and-coming stars, familiar faces such as Lori Loughlin ("Summerland") and Jessica Walter ("Arrested Development"), and guest star Jennie Garth, who will reprise her role from the original series. 90210 promises to deliver all the drama and excitement of the original series. In the 9:00-10:00 p.m. timeslot, the new series SURVIVING THE FILTHY RICH brings a distinctively witty note to the Tuesday lineup. Based on the best-selling book "How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls" by Zoe Dean, SURVIVING THE FILTHY RICH stars JoAnna Garcia ("Reba") as the live-in tutor to wild and wealthy teenage twin sisters in fabulous Palm Beach. SURVIVING THE FILTHY RICH makes the perfect companion piece for 90210.
On Wednesday, The CW's top-rated series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL ranked first in its time period in adults and women 18-34 and was the sixth highest-rated show on television among female teens last season. AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL returns in its successful 8:00-9:00 p.m. timeslot, followed by the new fashion reality show STYLISTA. From the creators of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL and "Project Runway," and starring Elle magazine's Fashion News Director, Anne Slowey, and Creative Director, Joe Zee, STYLISTA is "The Devil Wears Prada" reinvented as a reality series. With tough weekly challenges, 11 hopeful fashion enthusiasts will vie for a coveted editorial job and great prizes. Together, AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL and STYLISTA make up the fall's most fashionable night of television.
On Thursday, the heroic team of SMALLVILLE and SUPERNATURAL will continue to offer viewers great special effects and gorgeous men. From 8:00-9:00 p.m., SMALLVILLE was The CW's most-watched and highest-rated scripted series in total viewers and adults 18-49 last season. In the 9:00-10:00 p.m. hour, SUPERNATURAL is The CW's third most-watched scripted program, despite the highly competitive timeslot.
Big changes are in store on Fridays when The CW will offer the only comedy option of the night with returning hits EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS and THE GAME. The counter-programming theme continues in the 9:00-10:00 hour with an encore presentation of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL.
As previously announced, The CW is partnering with Media Rights Capital to program the Sunday night primetime block. Details on the individual series will be released at a later date.
For Midseason, the critically acclaimed drama REAPER will return for a second season with The Devil and his bounty hunter.
Following is The CW's 2008-2009 primetime schedule, a night-by-night breakdown and accompanying details on all the programs.

Gossip Girl - Latest from Kristin
Nelson in Miami: Gossip Girl! Spill it. You know you want to! XOXO!
Newsflash: I'm ridiculously excited for tonight's finale in which Rufus and Lily do the nasty. Lily walks down the aisle with Bart, and they both say Yes. (Scandaloso!) And Georgina will get her comeuppance, which makes me so happy you'd think I actually know the (fake) girl. Speaking of G, I can tell you that the plan has changed and that at this point, at least according to Michelle T and a CW source, there aren't any plans to bring her back. I don't know whether to laugh or cry 'cause I so love Michelle and love to hate Georgina.

Various sources are reporting that there is a Gossip Girl spinoff series being planned. Check this out:
The makers of “Gossip Girl” are planning a spinoff series set at a girls boarding school.
Producers are hoping to expand the popular CW show by either giving co-star Taylor Momsen her own series or by introducing a new character next season who is later spun off.
Regardless of which actor is used, the story would likely draw on the arc of Momsen’s character Jenny Humphrey in the “Gossip Girl” book series for inspiration.
Humphrey is a self-esteem challenged outsider who struggles to fit in. In the books, a series of public embarrassments (such as appearing in a teen magazine wearing next to nothing) results in Humphrey having to either repeat ninth grade or find a new school. She elects to enter a boarding school and reinvents herself as a popular girl. Her story is told in a series of six “Gossip” spinoff novels called “The It Girl.”

Spoilers have emerged from the first Hamptons-based episode of The CW’s delicious teen soap “Gossip Girl” which kicks off its sophomore year on September 1. The episode featuring a shirtless shot of Chace Crawford’s character Nate in his underwear will be filled with steamy, but secretive summer sex.
Nathaniel Archibald turns into a boy toy as he begins a secret affair with a married older woman named Catherine Mason. But as the couple get together for yet another hot appointment of afternoon sex, Catherine panics at the sound of her husband’s car pulling into driveway.
Meanwhile, Dan (Penn Badgley) gets a little make-out action of his own as he seduces a beautiful girl at the library where he assists Sebastian Harris, a man described by the writers as a “literary lion.” But the apprenticeship comes to an abrupt end, when Dan lets Sebastian down.
The season premiere episode will begin shooting in New York later this month.
