Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Grey's Anatomy is going live! The top rating drama series can't wait for months before they show a fresh episode so they are doing something about it. Although the Writers Guild of America strike is over, it would take a while before they air a new episode and the cast can't wait that long. They have decided to put on a live show for one night only to hopefully lessen the income that was lost during the strike. The series creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes writes on their official website: "For one night only, the casts of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice are coming together for a live performance! An unforgettable evening of laughter and song to benefit crew members who were affected by the strike. "Because while the strike is over, it will be months before many crew members are back to work. Millions of dollars in income were lost. Many crew members are suffering. And we want to do anything we can to help out. "See them all! Cause they wanna see you! And help raise some money to help others." The live show will be entitled 'Good Medicine.' It will be a stage production at UCLA's Royce Hall on February 29. The tickets for the event are available at ticketmaster.com. www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7010059653

Tony Award Winners Audra McDonald, Sara Ramirez and Loretta Devine will all headline “Good Medicine” - a once-in-a-lifetime musical event with casts of the popular ABC television shows Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.
Almost all the stars of these two popular TV series will be participating, and the evening will include musical performances by Paul Adelstein, Amy Brenneman, Tim Daly, T.R. Knight, Chris Lowell, James Pickens, Gina Taylor-Pickens and Chandra Wilson. Justin Chambers, Eric Dane, Taye Diggs, Katherine Heigl, Chyler Leigh, Sandra Oh, Ellen Pompeo, Brooke Smith, Kadee Strickland, Shonda Rhimes (creator/executive producer of both series) and Kate Walsh will also participate.
“Good Medicine,” from the Private Practice and Grey’s Anatomy cast, is held to benefit the Solidarity Fund - set up by the Writer’s Guild of America to help members of film and TV productions who were put out of work by the strike.
The event is being held at Royce Hall at UCLA, on Friday, February 29 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the event ($85) are on sale and open to the general public

I asked Paul's band Doris about a broadcast, because I was very interested in his cover version of the Simon & Garfunkel song. They answered me, as far as they know, there was no recording of that show Photo Gallery: Good Medicine show Source: tvguide.com
