^^ yeah, I know what you mean. I saw the Pilot and I somewhat liked it. Then episode 2 I was like... HMMM don't know, let me watch one more. But episodes 3 and 4, were both awesome to me! I love their chemistry. And I love the back stories that we get!! Yeah the back stories are great ! its like getting two episodes in one. Interesting way of showing his personality. Reminds me of that show a few years back with highlander, where you saw a piece of the main character's life as it pertains to the main story.. I like that I don't think I ever saw that show you're talking about.

I had to come back because I had to get tests down because of my heart problem .. I like to say my parents are temporarily kidnapping me what heart problem? Sara's death broke my heart, that or Went's smile ( I'm leaning towards Went ...No I have an irregular heart beat and my doc says I need a generator to make it beat correctly which equals getting a pacemaker. I came down to get all the tests done and even get a second opinion before the surgery. I'm ok, was a little shocked when I heard the news but I am better now...

I hope everything's fine!! I have a great deal of faith that all will work out. My doc says that its the only solution to my problem, so onward march.. I am curently trying to see the positives, no more waiting in line at the airport security check point, no more roller coasters ( i hated them), and a really cool scar

I know you'll be just fine, but this is still scary. You are in my prayers. And I can't believe you mentioned Highlander. I have never seen the show, but i have watched the movies, and I thought the very same thing, but not about New Amsterdam...about Moonlight !!! How strange.

I loved Highlander both the movies and series (although I was more in tuned with the series than the movies). I totally see it in Amsterdam, especially since the men are both more or less the same age and have accents. I have never watched Moonlight *ducks* so I can't compare. I guess I should give that show a try.

*closes eyes, not reading anything* I still haven't seen this (or October Road, please don't kill me Wenders, it's seriously not my fault, every lame ass teacher set their deadlines for the same damn week, so I've been crazy busy, hence me not coming on the forum for like two days (maybe three, did i just bracket in a bracket? oh well) and yeah so I haven't managed to watch it, bright side is it's downloaded, October Road is 90% something percent, i'll burn them tonight and watch them either tonight or tomorrow) rant over... but I can't wait to see this episode, i keep hearing things that people aren't over what happened, or something!!

The main character in Moonlight is not technically immortal, but as a vampire, he is very hard to kill and will never age...just like MacLeod in Highlander. There is just something about a group of people with near immortality traveling through the ages, fighting each other and living among mortals who have no clue they exist. It's the same in Highlander and Moonlight. I can see how New Amsterdam is like it as well. I think you'd like Moonlight based on the other shows you like.

This is EXACTLY why I havn't yet watch OR. Wendy is going to kill us one day if we don't start watching. I swear to GOD, that right after Moonlight, I start on OR!!
