George Clooney Splits With Sarah LarsonWed, 28 May 2008 at 3:13 pmPlayboy George Clooney has called it quits with model Sarah Larson after nearly a year of dating, reports In Touch. According to a friend of Sarah’s, the Leatherheads star recently moved out of his L.A. home while the 29-year-old former Las Vegas cocktail waitress removed her belongings. “George is relieved to be single again,” says an insider. “He thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with her.”George, 47, and Sarah had struggled to make their relationship work because of their different backgrounds. “The truth is they had little in common and he just doesn’t want to be tied down,” explains the insider.

Sarah Larson is a Chaya Chick Wed, 11 June 2008 at 10:14 pm Sarah Larson, aka George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend, lunches with her agent from Nous Model Management at Chaya Brasserie in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. The 29-year-old model is rumored to be featured in an upcoming lingerie campaign.
Also in the rumor mill: Clooney reportedly broke up with Larson because she had a breast augmentation in mid-May.
“George really didn’t want her to get the boob job,” an insider tells InTouch.
Sources close to Larson insist the rumors are “not true.”

Sarah Larson & George Clooney: Still Friends!Tue, 08 July 2008 at 2:24 pmSarah Larson is still on good terms with her ex, George Clooney. She opens up to Britian’s Hello! magazine about her relationship, which ended back in May. Here are the highlights from Larson’s interview: On not having any regrets in her relationship with Clooney: “George is a great guy, a wonderful person. I don’t regret spending time with him. We still remain friends and have kept in touch. In fact, we spoke over the phone a couple of days ago.” On what she’s taken away from the one-year relationship with him: “Most people know George has a great sense of humor and is an adept storyteller. But I will always love his extraordinary dance moves.” On her current relationship status: “I have two men in my life right now. They’re very dark and have lots of hair and weigh 15 lbs.” On Clooney opening up a lot of doors for her: “I have a lot of great opportunities, doors that have opened, and I have no complaints. I make good money. I have a house. I have all the things I’ve always wanted. I’m in a good place. I’ve had some amazing offers come in, including one modeling campaign that may bring me to England soon. I can’t talk about it yet because it’s not a done deal. I hope it happens because I’ve never been to England and I’d love to spend some time there. If I do end up there I could find a nice British boy. I’d be open to the idea. I hear they have a good sense of humor.”

George Clooney Joins the Tesla Team Wed, 09 July 2008 * George Clooney will trade Tango for Tesla # George Clooney Won’t Be Embarrassed For Long George Clooney is embarrassed by his eco-friendly car. The 'Michael Clayton' actor - who drives a electric one-seater Tango car - says the vehicle is not only embarrassing in terms of its appearance, it also means he can't drive any of his friends anywhere. He said: "It can be embarrassing. There's nowhere to hide, because it's just me behind the wheel and there isn't enough space for anyone else. "But it goes from zero to 60mph in four seconds, which is faster than virtually any other car on the road, so I can take off with a burst of speed if I get too many insults." George also revealed he is upgrading the Tango for a Tesla Roadster, which should be arriving later this year. He added: "Teslas are like Ferraris - it's going to make less of a dent on my pride than the Tango! And I can take passengers which means I can make friends again!"

In their Sept. 12 comedy Burn After Reading, Ethan and Joel Coen make their O Brother, Where Art Thou? star George Clooney really stretch as an actor. ''George is a bit of a womanizer in the film,'' says producer Eric Fellner. In this between-takes shot, Clooney and Frances McDormand have just returned from a date. ''They're at Fran's house, and he is literally sweeping her off her feet.'' Which reminds us: Burn also features Brad Pitt. www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20210536_2,00.html

Brad Pitt Pays Tribute To Bernie MacSun, 10 August 2008 at 4:49 pmBrad Pitt, George Clooney and other cast members of the Ocean’s trilogy have paid tribute to their co-star Bernie Mac, after his tragic death on Saturday. Pitt said, “I lament the loss of a ferociously funny and hardcore family man. My thoughts are with Rhonda and their family. Bernie Mac, you are already missed.” Clooney lamented, ”The world just got a little less funny. He will be dearly missed.” Don Cheadle, who also starred in the Ocean’s films, added: “This is a very sad day for many of us who knew and loved Bernie. He brought so much joy to so many. He will be missed but heaven just got funnier.” Samuel L Jackson, who costars with Mac in Soul Men (out later this year), said, “It goes without saying that Bernie was one of the pre-eminent comedians of our generation. He was also an attentive husband, a great father and loving grandfather. I feel blessed to have shared years of friendship with Bernie Mac, and I’m honored to have finally co-starred with him in what I consider to be his finest cinematic acting achievement.”

Brad Pitt Premieres “Burn After Reading”Wed, 27 August 2008 at 1:49 pmBrad Pitt joins prankster pal George Clooney at the opening ceremony and Burn After Reading premiere during the 2008 Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande on Wednesday in Venice, Italy. The 44-year-old father-of-six and the 47-year-old ladies man were accompanied by directors Joel and Ethan Coen and actresses Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton. Last night, Brad and George partied into the wee hours after the black tie fundraiser for their Not On Our Watch charity. To read about their partying ways with some 20 fundraiser guests at the Cipriani’s poolside bar, visit People.com. You can also check out one of the first reviews of the movie at Variety.com. Here’s a snippet: “Major star names might stoke some mild B.O. heat with older upscale viewers upon U.S. release Sept. 12, but no one should expect this reunion of George Clooney and Brad Pitt to remotely resemble an Ocean’s film commercially.” More Pictures HERE
