lol so much to comprehend. So Juliet blew up the future hatch. This can either be the Incident, or lead to change in the future. But like Miles said, I think they only caused the Incident. I wonder if we'll see anymore hatch related stuff revealing. Like the numbers and shit. Juliet dying was also touching.
Jacob flashbacks were very very interesting. The first scene, we see the Black Rock at sea. How does it get to the middle of the island? Now we know Jacob resides under the statue. Hence the "What lies beneath the statue" question. The man speaking to Jacob appears to be his polar opposite. The man seems like Smokey and I wonder if smokey took control of his people. So now we know Locke is dead. DEAD IS DEAD, as Ben explains. Who is controlling his body and for some reason, since his resurrection I always knew he wasn't the same. Right up until the killing of Jacob, when he convinced Ben to kill him, I knew this wasn't the same Locke we all knew.
Jacob's flashbacks. First off, did you notice he touched all the people he met? Everyone he met was already in Dharma times. He touched Kate as a child, Jack after giving him the chocolate bar, also I like the scene where his dad gets him to count to 5. Pilot reference was a nice touch. He then touched Locke, after he fell outta the balcony presumably bringing him back to life. Sun and Jin's wedding, he was there, I can't remember if he touched Jin. He gave Sawyer the pen to finish up his, "I know who you are Mr. Sawyer" letter, but he never did meet Juliet, hence confirming her fate. He also gave Hurley instructions on going back to flight 316 and was their when Nadia got shot.
Very interesting turn of events at the end and I beleive Locke pushing Jacob over into the fire proves this isn't Locke. This is smokey who was in that guy's body at the beginning of the episode.
The middle parts were also entertaining. Jack/Sawyer fight, Miles pondering on whether them actually going to stop the hatch incident from occurring actually being the incident was another hint that WHH.
So much happened. In the end, I am more confused than ever, but this is the last season finale that ends on confusion!! BRING ON S6.

THIS EPISODE WAS ANOTHER EPIC, MINDBLOWING FINALE!!!! I'M JUST RIGHT NOW!! OK, first of all. I didn't think it was big that, that Phil guy died. I was like, Meh, how gives a shit! BUT JULIET AND JACOB BEING KILLED, NOW THAT'S BIG! I'M SO JUST MINDBOGGLED RIGHT NOW! How the fuck do those people in the present have Locke in that metal cage thing, when Locke just helped Ben kill Jacob?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF! This episode was just awesome! We knew all along it was their destiny to be on the Island, and Jacob made sure of that. By giving them the option, its up to you, you can or you cant... HE KNEW and everyone knows that your going to go. There is no point in giving that option ;d I liked seeing him meet everyone at different times in their life... BUT STILL! WTF?! LOCKE HAS TWO BODIES! ;D ;D ;D WHAT THE HELL?!!!!!! Ohh man. Its like... are they dead or alive right now? Juliet managed to blow up the bomb... so whats going to happen now?! DUDE, HUGE CLIFFHANGER! SO MEAN! Loved it! BRING ON SEASON 6!!!!

God with that finale we will have to wait till season6 to see if Juliet blewing the hatch or whatever actually made a difference and they changed the future, or was just a part of the events that lead to the same future we all know. I'm sooo confused right now, Locke is not really Locke, then who is he? who took his body...actually who transformed on a Locke body, cause it's not someone controling his body, since his body is on the beach...lol a mess. I wanna know who is he!!!! Well it's obvious it's the dude we saw talking to Jacob at the beggining of the episodes, but nothing more. I liked how Jacob went to visit all of them at different times of their lives, he was checking on them, and saving them (in Locke's case)..He was the one that convinced Hurley to go to the plane, and give him the guitar. The way he died is useless I mean it was easy to avoid it..why he even said Ben he still has a choice if he knows he doesn't. Maybe they do have a choice. ahhh when's season 6 going to start!!!

Yeah so man from the beginning is called Man #2 since that's his name in the credits. I believe that he controlled everyone from Christian Shephard, Walt, and anyone who appeared to the Losties throughout the series. In other words he's smokey and lives under the temple.
I believe that if you go near him, he affects you. Like Montand (Rousseau's husband) in season 5. He was possessed by it, as well as the others in Rousseau's camp whom she all shot. Man #2 then takes the form of Locke after Locke died, thus making Locke officially declared dead.
At the beginning, we were informed of a loophole that Man #2 couldn't kill Jacob. It also appears that leaders of The Others or something can't kill each other also, like when Ben was leader, he couldn't kill former leader Charles Widmore. Since he became Locke, he was able to convince Ben to do what he wants. This is in the form of Alex underneath the temple when she tells him to do exactly what Locke tells you. This is the same person, Man # 2.
Now flashback to season 1. Locke is playing Backgammon with Walt on the beach. He explains their are two sides of colours. Black and White. In this scenario, Jacob is the good guy(white) and Man #2 is the bad guy. Using Locke's form, he convinces Ben, who is no longer leader of the Others, to kill Jacob. This happens and now he succeeds in killing Jacob. Man #2 found the loophole in the form of Benjamin Linus.
Also, going back to the first two seasons, I believe Ben and Richard and the Others were all deceived. They believed they were getting orders from Jacob. So when they were off trying to do their dirty work on the island, to the Losties and killing certain people, they were really listening to Man #2 and not Jacob. Why didn't Jacob intervene? I guess this is what season 6 is all about. The bigger mystery of the island and the struggle between Jacob and Man #2.

Yeah, me and Caz were talking about this and we think that the dude who was talking to Jacob at the beginning of this episode controls Smokey who can transform into people. Like a shape-shifter. Because he said to Jacob, "I will find a loophole." and then Locke said to Jacob when they were going to kill Jacob in the foot, he mentioned that he found a loophole. Too much of a coincidence. Also, remember when Smokey was around and he showed Ben his daughter in the cave? Well if Smokey-joe can do that, he can show everyone Locke.
