wow...speaking of donating blood. i was this close to doing it. they have started a campaign here at work, and everyone was taking part. i wasn't able to donate any cause they checked my blood level and found it low. i was so disappointed You mean your red blood cell count was low? or just your blood pressure?

Do u mean u have low blood pressure?? If that so, then another reason for me not being able to donate. Doctors don't recommend if you have low or high blood pressure for you to donate blood since your heart is pumping blood irregularly. Taking blood out, while ok for people with normal blood pressure(120/80), might put an extra strain on you heart because its either working to hard (high blood pressure) or not enough (low blood pressure). Be careful with the low blood pressure Fanny, keep it check ( I know you probably are but I worry like that ).. Thanks for worrying hun! The doctor told me i can't do anything to elevate my blood pressure (meaning having it low is normal to me) but to avoid those ocasional fainting i have, i should drink coffee. Also i found out that ppl with low pressure tend to be sleepy all day, even if they slept time enough, and that's my case, so now i decided to start drinking coffee with milk tho.

Ooohh... I love dates! what's a date? They're these brown/yellow oblong shape thingies, grow on palm tree. When we go Saudi Arabia we always bring back alot and we have alot during the month of Ramadhan (fasting time) too. They're really sweet.

wow you ppl never had any dates? No I have had dates, not a big fan. My Moroccan friends loved them during Ramadan ( spelling? Sorry ) and pretty much all year round. My mom likes them too. To me they look like big juicy raisins ;D..I was just too lazy to scroll back to see where where dates came up ..
