George Clooney to Appear on ER FinaleWed January 21, 2009Looks like George Clooney could be putting on his scrubs again for ER. Despite a denial by his rep to Usmagazine.com in September -- Entertainment Tonight reports the one-time TV doc will be filming scenes for the show's finale on Thursday and Friday of this week. The show's producer, John Wells, hinted to Us Jan. 15 that "we're going to have a lot of people coming back to ER at the conclusion of the series," set to air April 2. (Anthony Edwards and Noah Wyle already appeared, while Eriq La Salle is slated to return.) "George is very busy. He's very handsome," said Wells, adding that "we've talked about it a couple of times. You know, it's George." The producer is leaving the door open for Clooney. "We'll be shooting down there at the end, and if he comes by and he says he wants to do something, we'll do something," he said. Although Wells admitted he'd be "surprised" if Clooney made a cameo, he added: "George loves practical jokes. So who knows?" Source
